2008's most awaited movie 'Tashan', is out now. TASHAN is all style and not much of substance. The film stars four top-line actors who have been having a great box office run - Akshay Kumar (5 successful films in a row), Saif Ali Khan (Race), Anil Kapoor (Race, Welcome) and Kareena Kapoor (Jab We Met).
But this time al of them put together fail to deliver what was expected from them. Though the movie offers style quotient in abundance. But the storyline fails to impress.To provide relief the locales are good and the style quotient pretty high.
Coming down to performances, Anil Kapoor is at his very best. His character is that of the don, who is dangerous, yet manages to tickle your funny bone. His English talking is very funny and with each line he says… everyone laughed.
Kareena Kapoor is doing what she was supposed to do, look sexy.
But much more was expected from Saif. However the role failed to do justice to him. He didn’t have much to do in the movie.
Akshay Kumar again manages to take most of your applause. He is the show stealer of the movie.
The music in TASHAN is fairly good. Overall go and watch the flick only for akki and ya anil's english. I wud give the movie a 3 on 5.
